Information for NEW JERSEY Customers:

In an effort to assist you in these difficult times, and in accordance with New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance’s Emergency Bulletin of April 10, 2020, we have implemented the following process for those impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic:

If you have experienced financial hardship as a result of COVID-19 and contact us:

  • We will offer an extended grace period in which we will not cancel any home or auto policies for non-payment for 90 days.
     
  • You can choose to begin the 90 day grace period in either April or May 2020.
     
  • We will not charge any fees for late payments.
     
  • We will not report any late payments to credit bureaus or collection agencies.
     
  • We will offer a process to repay overdue premiums over the course of 12 months, in 12 equal installments.
     
  • We certify that late payments will not be considered in future rating of our New Jersey policyholders’ premiums.
     

Pursuant to NJ Bulletin 20-19, which is in response to the COVID-19 state of emergency, reimbursement of medical expense benefits under Personal Injury Protection (PIP) for telehealth services that are provided by a provider in any manner that is practicable and appropriate, including by telephone, will be considered.
